After 33 years, I’ve been so blessed to be able to work the best job I’ve ever had, working part of the Quaker maintenance department, solving problems and making things right.
Today I start my new opportunity, working with our maintenance team and the frontline associates.
Woke up this morning, super nervous. Butterflies. And couldn’t wait to, kind of, hit the floor. I want to make sure I am able to execute the expectations my bosses laid out for me.
Mornings are my time. My time to shine. The sun is coming up and that is charging me. Milo, our family dog, is the first one up with me. He and I actually have breakfast together. And I think that whole morning routine with Milo just fires me up.
I consider myself an extremely positive person.
