He’s never been away from us. Today, Orion will be going to preschool for the first time ever. ​

He’s a lockdown baby. So he hasn’t really been into any childcare before. So it’s a big day for him.​

Breakfast is important to us. It gives us all a moment to sit together as a family, connect with each other, and prepare him for the day so that he knows what’s coming.​

He’s been telling me that preschool is new so that it feels a bit scary. But then he said that you can be brave like a knight or a dragon or a horse – which, apparently, are very brave things. ​
