Today we’re walking 25 kilometers around the bridges of London in memory of our eldest sister Ana, who died of motor neurone disease three years ago. It would have been her 75th birthday tomorrow.
It’s really hot, and I’m worrying about how we get from the beginning to the end, especially at our age.
Physically, preparing for this involved a lot of walking, but you can’t moan when you think of Ana.
Ana and my parents make me feel hope. I feel them around me. And whenever I am in need – physically, mentally – I just think that they’re there and have never let me down. I’ve never been let down.
