I want to be a personal trainer so today I’m joining a course online.

I used to be a bus driver and I was eating out, getting takeaways and drinking fizzy drinks. I was doing shifts so you don’t have time to cook, you don’t have time to eat at the right times. I was a unhealthy.

And then I started this journey two years ago. We were still in lockdown and I was feeling down. I had no energy. I thought: I need to do something about it.

Going to the gym has helped me get more motivated to do my everyday stuff.

My friends and my partner support me, but I’m doing it on my own. I know it’s important for people to support you but you have to do it yourself. No one’s going to help you lift the weights.
