My dad, my brother and I are going on this tribute hike for my grandma today. She passed recently and we’re going on the same hike that my dad and my grandma did when she was 47 and he was 14.

It’s a hard hike. There’s lots of steep cliff where you climb down chains, so I’m worried I might not be able to do this hike.

My biggest hope on this hike is to make my dad happy. He was really close to his mom and I want to see him happy and revisit this hike that he has such fond memories of.

My grandma was a crazy cool woman. She travelled a ton, hiked a lot. She’s a huge inspiration to me in just living life to the fullest.
