I work at a local family farm park and today is my first day driving the tractor ride.

I’ve got to give a commentary, so I’ve got to make it entertaining. I’m not a farmer, so I just have to try and wing it.

I used to be a computer programmer. Then, my parents got sick, so I cared for them for a couple of years. With my mother’s passing and my father going into a nursing home, I wanted a job, but I wanted to do something completely different. Nothing too adventurous, but outside would be great.

At the end of the first ride, I hope to see some smiling faces. If we get that, particularly from the children, that’s what I’m happy with.
