It’s the end of the financial year and the charity I work for are pressing for the accounts. I’ve been doing them for 36 years. When I finish the accounts, I will breathe a sigh of relief, and then I’m going to get myself spruced up, and I’m going off to meet my grandson for dinner this evening.
I think it’s very important to keep one’s grey matter stimulated, and to keep one’s physical being on the move, so to speak.
My late husband had a wonderful motto. He used to say: Don’t waste a good worry. The things you worry about never happen.
