Steve, 81Health Check,You've got this.

Listen to their story

I’m going to see the doctor after lunch today. I’m hoping I’ll get the all-clear on the cancer test. And he can finally remove the catheter I’ve had to wear for the last few months, which has been so uncomfortable, occasionally painful, and it stops me from doing certain exercises.

After I had the last surgery done, my wife found that she had to have a hip replacement. We lean on each other, but after 50-odd years, that’s not difficult.

In the mornings, I come down in my dressing gown and get all the breakfast things ready. My wife comes down about an hour later when she’s finally put all her makeup on, and everything is nice and ready for her.

My wife insists that she’s coming with me today, but I’m quite positive. I feel good in myself.
