Today, I’m going away, because everybody’s busy and I’m by myself.
My hope for today is that the taxi turns up in time. I’ll try to behave myself, but at my time of life, does it matter? I’ll make friends with women by themselves. I don’t want another man in my life. I’ve had enough.
Mornings mean to me I’ve woken up. I’m not in any pain. I can go out, go shopping, go out for lunch. I won’t tell you where I go because you might want to go and they’ll put the prices up.
My hope for today is that I can carry on living as I do, and go out and enjoy myself. Because you’ve only got one life to lead and you’ve got to try. Treat it as if every day is your last and enjoy it.
