Emma, 25Moving on without Roy,You've got this.

Listen to their story

My assistance dog, Roy, passed away two months today. He was such a big part of my life, and he loved everyone being together, so this evening we’re having a huge get together to remember and celebrate him.

I’m sure there’ll be some tears. But I’m happy it’s happening. I know Roy would have absolutely loved it.

I really like mornings. If I’ve had a rubbish day then the next day it’s sort of like: Right, I’ve showered that all off. Come on, let’s do it, let’s go get out, get some fresh air.

Even when I can’t see that there’s something positive at the end, there is something hopeful within me that’s like: It’s there, even if you can’t see it.
