Motherhood has made me look at things differently. I’m way less self-obsessed. I think I’m more compassionate. I don’t sweat the little things.

My second child is still a newborn baby. He’s very good. But I know it’s going to get hard. My first child has a temper, I know they’re going to fight. So I am prepared for it.

Mornings for us are hectic, but I quite like the busyness of getting ready for the day. I’m not a ritual kind of person, I play things by ear. Mornings are about making sure my kids are happy and that my toddler is kind of jolly when he leaves the house.

My children make me feel hope because they’re so joyful and present in the moment and they just accept you for who you are. I’d love it if somehow, that could be put in a bottle.
